Bike Tuning          

The bike technicians in our bike tuning and repair shop will tune your bike to perform at its best. They offer full tunes; tunes with drive-train cleaning; servicing, adjusting, and bleeding of hydraulic brakes cable-actuated brakes, and pad replacement for both types of brakes; overhauling and servicing of hydraulic-front-suspension forks; and specific parts repair or replacement. On new bikes purchased from Ski and Bike Kare, free tunes are provided for the first 90 days of ownership.

Additional Services

Our bike technicians also install fenders, baskets, rear and front racks, and light systems. They true wheels and build bikes. They will disassemble, securely pack, and ship your bike to anywhere in the continental U.S. For a nominal fee, they will provide you with a pre-purchase inspection of a bike you are considering to let you know what it will take to get the bike performing safely and properly. They can special order parts for you for most brands and most bikes. If you have any additional bike-service needs, talk to our bike techs, and they can advise you accordingly. During high season, the bike shop provides 24 to 48 hour turn around time on services.
