SBK Bootfitters Getting Ready
The bootfitters at Steamboat Ski and Bike Kare are warming up the heat guns, getting the punching and grinding tools ready, and stocking the boots in preparation for the snow to fly here in Steamboat Springs, CO. Three of our bootfitters, Mike Johnson, Chris Katers, and Derek Hodson just returned from Masterfit U with more great knowledge that they can pass on to the rest of the staff that will help you ski better and your feet stop hurting. Harry sends a number of bootfitters to Masterfit every year no matter how many years of experience or how much knowledge they already have, in order to make sure the SBK staff stays on top of the latest bootfitting techniques that will help your skiing improve and feet remain comfortable. Remember there is no excuse to not enjoy the ski day because your feet hurt!

December 3, 2011 at 11:00 pmi am coming to steamboat at the very beginning of January. Should I make an appointment to buy boots or do you just drop by? I need new ones for my son, and either a refit or new ones for myself. i need rental skis for my son also.

December 4, 2011 at 3:13 amHi John, you can definitely stop by the shop anytime to get yours and your son’s boots looked at. We always have someone at the shop that can take care of you guys; however, if an appointment works better for you then we would be happy to do that as well. You can email either Harry or Derek (Harry@steamboatskiandbike.com or Derek@steamboatskiandbike.com) anytime to set up an appointment. Feel free to give the shop a call too if that works better for you. As far as rental skis go I would suggest setting up a reservation on the website here, and we will take care of the rest. Look forward to seeing you all in January!
Thanks,
Austin Watts
